(Siasat News): A woman, who was very upset over the constant demand of more dowry from her in-laws, took the extreme step of ending her life. This incident occurred in Jawahar Nagar.Police sources said that Lavanya, 27, hanged herself to death in her house. She was the wife of one Laxmi Narayana of PJR Nagar. The couple had two children. Her in-laws including her husband, were constantly harassing Lavanya to bring more dowry.When the harassment became intolerable, Lavanya took the extreme step. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
