Four persons commit suicide-

Hyderabad, January 11:

In separate cases, four persons committed suicide due to different reasons. In Saroornagar police limits, a 21-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling on Saturday night. The deceased, A Monika, took the extreme step at her residence in Lingojiguda. Preliminary enquiries by the police revealed that Monika hailed from Kalwakurthy and was studying BA second year. But her parents discontinued her studies and got her married to Veeramani about six months ago. She was upset over discontinuance of her studies and the same is suspected to have driven her to suicide, according to Sub-Inspector H Prabhakar.

In another case, T Sridhar, 30, of Ghatkesar, committed suicide by consuming some unknown poison. He took the extreme step at his workplace near Osmnaia University on Saturday and died in the office premises. Ill-health is suspected to be the reason behind suicide, according to OU police.

In a different case, B Sahahi, 55, committed suicide allegedly due to financial problems. He consumed some unknown poison on January 8 at his residence in Bharat Nagar and died at the Gandhi Hospital on Sunday morning, according to Uppal police.

In a separate case, 30-year-old S Anjaneyulu succumbed to the burn injuries which he sustained on January 7 after setting himself ablaze in inebriated condition at his residence in Pudur of Ranga Reddy district. He was admitted to the OGH where he died on Saturday night. According to Chengumul police, Anjaneyulu was upset since his wife went away to her parents house a few months ago. (INN)
