Sunday, 18 January 2015 A 40-year-old widow committed suicide allegedly due to financial problems. According to Meerpet police, the deceased, Bijan Bi, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Bhupesh Gupta Nagar near Karmanghat on Saturday night. Her husband, Md Jahangir, had passed away a few years ago and she did trivial jobs to raise her two daughters and one son. She was facing financial problems after performing the marriage of her two daughters and the same is suspected to have driven her to suicide. Financial stress lead to suicide In another case, B Radha, succumbed to the burn injuries which she suffered on January 5 after setting herself ablaze. She was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital where she died on Saturday night. According to Musheerabad police, Radha was habitual of consuming toddy. On the day of incident too, she came in an inebriated condition and resorted to the extreme step after having an argument with her family members. Substance abuse is an addiction often which is caused by neurological disorder and often leads into depression. Md Noor, 46, committed suicide after setting himself ablaze at his residence in Hills Colony in Nawab Sahab Kunta on Saturday night. He was immediately rushed to Osmania General Hospital where he was declared brought dead. Noor, a saree printing worker, resorted to the extreme step after having a fight with his wife over some trivial issue, according to Falaknuma police.
